The U.S. Department of Transportation's Access and Mobility for All Summit

On October 29, 2019, the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) will host the Access and Mobility for All Summit to raise awareness of DOT and government-wide efforts to improve access and mobility for people with disabilities, older adults, and individuals of low income and identify priority Federal and non-Federal activities and innovations that can provide more efficient, affordable, and accessible vehicles and mobility services such as transit and ride-sharing. The Summit will offer an opportunity to learn about and provide input on Federal and non-Federal actions to support expanded access to mobility through new vehicle technologies and emerging service models, with a focus on surface transportation. The Summit will include keynote remarks from Secretary of Transportation Elaine L. Chao, Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Benjamin S. Carson, Sr., M.D., and Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers (WA-5) and discussions with leaders across academia, industry, and government as well as a showcase of innovations enabling expanded access to mobility for people with disabilities.

Through this online dialogue, the community will be able to post questions to panelists and continue the conversation after the conclusion of the summit.

Thank you for joining us in this important effort!
