Affordability of Accessible Automated Vehicles

All of the technology solutions being studied sound amazing and the future is exciting. However, none of this will matter if people cannot afford the accessible solutions being marketed. Conversations between Auto makers & Adaptive Equipment Designers

I have MD and use a power wheelchair. I used zero-effort van mods and drove for 10 years. Due to mechanical design they were only able to modify full-size Ford vans.

 

Auto manufacturers NEED to have conversations with adaptive equipment designs so that there is more compatibility between the two.
